What is cricket

Cricket is an international game. The game is played between two teams, each team consisting of 11 players. One team bats and the other team fields the field. Two batsmen enter the field for batting, one a striker and the other a non-striker, while the remaining 9 sit in the dressing room. If one is out, the other comes into bat, and 10 batsmen are out. If a batsman is out then a wicket is said to have fallen. This is a total of 10 wickets.

There are 11 people in the field in fielding. One bowls as a bowler, one stays behind the batting as a wicket-keeper and the rest have to field.

  What are the cricket kits?

1.Bat

The bat is the stick with which the ball is hit for runs. As a rule, a batter is 38 inches in length and 4.5 inches in width. It weighs between 1 kg to 2.5 kg. It depends on the batsman how much weight he plays with the bat.

2. Ball

Cricket balls are round and usually red or white in color. Generally, the red ball is used in test matches, and the white ball is used in ODI/T20 matches.

3. Stumps
The stumps are three wooden sticks that are buried in the ground behind the batsman during the game of cricket, topped by two bails. There are a total of six ground spikes, three each at the two opposite ends of the pitch. The height of the stump is 28 inches and the width is 9 inches.

4. Helmate

Cricket helmets are mainly used by batsmen and fielders, who are close to the batsmen on strike. These helmets are made of BS plastic, fiberglass, carbon fiber, titanium, steel, and high-density metals.

5. Pads

Pads are also called leg guards. The batsman, wicketkeeper, and fielder near the strict batsman are worn during the game of cricket.

6. Hand gloves
There are two types of gloves in cricket, batting gloves and keeping gloves. Batsmen wear them while batting and wicketkeepers wear them while fielding. Gloves provide comfort, prevent blister formation, provide warmth, improve grip, and protect against injury.

7. Abdominal guard

The abdominal guard is an abdominal and genital guard kit in cricket. It protects the pelvic area and prevents early cricket injuries. This means that when the cricket ball hits your genitals it will help absorb the shock.

8. Batting shoes

Batsmen should have cricket shoes with rubber spikes/metal spikes as these shoes provide a better grip and help the batsman run faster on the pitch.

9. Bowling shoes

Bowling shoes have nails that strengthen the soles of the shoes and provide an excellent grip for running; the feet are not likely to slip while bowling.

Who runs the cricket in the world and where is it?

The  ICC, in full form, is the International Cricket Council. The ICC is headquartered in Dubai, UAE. All international tournaments and World Cups in cricket are conducted by the ICC. It appoints umpires who officiate in all sanctioned Test matches, One Day matches, and Twenty20 Internationals.

  2. Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iphone and tested to see if it can survive a
twenty five foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is
now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
