Sachin was very fond of playing cricket as a child. So his elder brother took his coach to Ramakanth Ajanikar. But Sachin did not perform well at first, so Ajanikar did not agree to teach him cricket. On the request of his elder brother, coach Ajnikar watched his match from behind a tree, he played well that day. He then enrolled Sachin in his academy and started teaching him cricket.

On 14 November 1987, Sachin Tendulkar got a chance to play for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy. But he was not selected in any of the matches in the playing eleven, he was used only as a replacement in that entire series.

One year later, on 11 December 1988, at the age of just 15 years and 225 days, Tendulkar made his debut for Mumbai. In this match, he scored an unbeaten century and became the youngest player to score a century on debut. In the session of 1988-89, he became the highest run-scorer for Mumbai in the entire series, only after that the brilliant performance continued and he also scored an unbeaten century in the Irani Trophy against Delhi. Sachin Tendulkar scored a century in his very first match in Ranji Duleep and Irani Trophy and was the only batsman from India to do so.

After seeing Sachin’s magical game Mr. Raj Singh, the selector of the Indian International Cricket Team, selected him in the Indian International Cricket Team. And he was selected for the Indian International Cricket Team at the age of just 16 years. Sachin made his Test debut against Pakistan in Karachi at the age of just 16 years and 205 days. In Karachi, Sachin scored 15 runs while playing the first match for the Indian cricket team against Pakistan. In one match of that series, Sachin suffered a blow to his nose which caused him to start bleeding but he still played an innings of 54 runs.

Then he never looked back, He broke all cricket records with his batting prowess.
