Parents
His father’s name is Pan Singh Dhoni. Pan Singh Dhoni’s original residence was in Uttarakhand. From there he moved to Ranchi and worked as a junior management at MECON. Mother is Devaki Devi.
He has a sister Jayant and a brother Narendra Singh Dhoni.
Childhood life
He attended Vidya Mandir School in DAV Jawahar Ranchi Jharkhand as a child. And he excelled in all sports like badminton, football, and cricket. As a child, he played as a goalkeeper for his football team. Coach Keshav Ranjan Banerjee saw his goalkeeping skills and invited him to become a wicketkeeper in cricket. MS Dhoni showed good wicketkeeping skills in the trials. MS Dhoni then began training as a wicketkeeper-batsman under coach Keshav Ranjan Banerjee. And cricket became his target.
Under-16
He showed good wicketkeeping skills for Commando Cricket Club in 1995. and got a chance to play in the Vinu Mankad Trophy U-16 Championship Tournament. He performed well there too. He was selected for the Central Cool Fields Limited (CCL) team in 1998. And performed well in the school cricket team.
Under-19
He was selected for the senior Bihar Ranji team in 1999 at the age of 18. And later he was selected for CK Nayudu trophy under-19 zone.
TTE life
In 2001, Due to his good performance in cricket, he got the job of TTE from the sports department at Kharagpur Railway Station in West Bengal. But there was no desire to do the TTE job. According to his father, he worked and practiced at a Kharagpur club. But he had no interest in his job His target was cricket. So he left his job, went home, and started playing cricket again.
Struggling life
Ranji Trophy and Deodhar Trophy got the chance to play for the Jharkhand team in 2002. After the Duleep Trophy final match International cricketer Deep Dasgupta and Prakash Poddar(captain of Bengal in 1960) sent a report to the national cricket academy. Then he selected the India A team for Zimbabwe & Kenya Ture. For Harare Sporting Club, DHoni made 7 catches and 3 stamping against Zimbabwe. He performed well in Three national tournaments (Kenya, India A, and Pakistan). Seeing this performance, the Captain and Coach of the Indian National Team Robi Shastri Selected him for the Bangladesh tour.
The cricket career of Ms Dhoni
In 2004, He was run out for zero runs in the first ODI match of the Bangladesh tour. He was caught out in the second match and did not perform well on the tour of Bangladesh. He scored only 19 runs in three matches. He thought that his name might not be on the India team for the next match. But captain Sourav Ganguly took him on a tour of Pakistan. He was out for three runs in the fast match. His scores are 0,12, 7, and three in four matches. From the results of four matches, he was no longer eligible to be in the playing eleven. But captain Sourav Ganguly played him as an upper-order batsman in the second match. In the second match, he scored 148 off 123 balls against Pakistan. And recorded the highest score as an Indian wicketkeeper. His cricket career started from there.
In June 2007, He w as recognized as the virus captain and In September 2007, he got captaincy rights.

Personal life
In 2004, he met Priyanka Jha on a flight back from a visit to Bangladesh. Priyanka Jha was a great fan of Sachin Tendulkar. So he requested Dhoni for Sachin Tendulkar’s autograph. Priyanka did not know Dhoni. From there they talk and fall in love with each other. Priyanka died in a road accident that year.
Dhoni’s wife
Dhoni later met Sakshi Singh Rawat at a hotel. And July 4, Dhoni married Sakshi Singh Rawat.
