Hardik Pandya’s full name is Hardik Himanshu Pandya. He is an Indian international cricketer. He plays as an all-rounder in the Indian team. A right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler, Pandya has played for India in all 3 formats, Tests, ODIs, and T20Is. He also plays well in the Indian Premier League.

Hardik Pandya’s father’s name is Himanshu Pandya. He ran a small car finance business in Surat, closed the business there, and moved to Vadodara to provide better cricket training to his sons when Hardik was five years old. Himanshu Pandya worked as a loan agent in Vadodara. He enrolled his two sons in Kiran More’s Cricket Academy in Vadodara. Due to a lack of finances, Hardik Pandya and his family lived in a rented house.

  Hardik Pandya’s mother’s name is Nalini Pandya is a housewife. Also, his elder brother Krunal Pandya is also a famous cricketer of the Indian cricketer team.

School life

  Hardik Pandya starts his schooling at MK High School. He had no interest in studies. There were many complaints from the school. He left his studies after class nine. And completely focused on cricket.

Early life

   In 2008, his father suffered a heart attack. Then his father lost his ability to work. After that, Hardik and his elder brother are responsible for earning his family. Hardik and his elder brother used to play all the local tournaments in town and the village. They used to get Rs 300 per match. On some days, he ate Maggi worth 5 rupees and played matches all day.

    Hardik Pandya did quite well in junior-level cricket and won many matches single-handedly in club cricket. Hardik Pandya was a leg-spinner until the age of 18 and returned to fast bowling at the behest of Baroda coach Sanath Kumar. After playing well in club cricket, he got an opportunity to play in Baroda State Cricket in 2013.

  On 17 March 2013, Hardik Pandya got a chance in a T20 match against Mumbai. He made 123 runs in 7 matches and got 5 wickets in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in Baroda in 2013. The payment for the tournament was RS 80,000. 

    The next year 2014 in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy he made 219 runs in 9 matches. The best score is 82* not out against Mumbai. 

Selected to IPL

   In 2015, Mumbai Indians selected Hardik Pandya in the ILP auction as an all-rounder. In the first match against RCB, he finished the match with 16 runs in 6 balls in the death over. He made 61 off 31 balls in a do-or-die match against KKR and kept Mumbai alive in the playoffs. And Mumbai Indians won the IPL trophy, Hardik get a check of 50 lacks rupees.

Selected Indian team

On 26 January 2016, he was selected for the Indian international team against Australia in a t20 series. In T20, 2016, Hardik bowled the last over against Bangladesh to win the match for India by 1 run. On 16 October 2016, he was selected for the ODI match against New Zealand and got 3 wickets with 31 runs in 10 overs. And get an award for man-of-the-match.

Then his career developed in cricket. Then he continues to play as an all-rounder in the Indian team.
